Twining was contracted by the City of Santa Clarita to perform quality assurance inspection and material testing for their 2004-2005 Annual Pavement Rehabilitation Program. We performed inspection at project sites and at the batch plant. We provided mix design verifications and laboratory testing, as well as a final certified quality assurance materials report. Twining also assisted the City by performing slurry seal placement inspection and testing.

During plant inspection services for this project, Twining displayed its proactive inspection approach by providing asphalt binder plant inspection and by identifying viscosity and blending issues that the supplier was experiencing. Through this proactive inspection approach, not a single out of compliance load of rubberized asphalt concrete was shipped to the project.
